LAN with a new frequency between Mendoza and Santiago
Beginning from July 1st, LAN will add one new daily frequency between Mendoza and Santiago, the current route it flies with two daily frequencies.

GOL will resume the direct flights between Buenos Aires and Fortaleza beginning from December. The agreement will last one year.
Boutique hotels propose tourist routes

Six monuments compete in vote of 7 Wonders Lusas
Brazil, with six monuments, is competing in vote of the 7 Wonders of Portuguese Origin in the World and it has presented the candidatures of the San Francisco de Asís Church of Penitence, the Sanctuary of Jesus of Matozinho, both are in Minas Gerais; the Monastery of Sao Bento and the Convent of San Francisco, in Rio de Janeiro; el Fuerte del Principe da Beira, in Rondonia and the Monastery of Sao Bento of Olinda. The list of the participants includes in total 27 monuments belonging to 16 countries.
US Airways with a new service to Rio de Janeiro
US Airways will operate direct daily flights between its hub in Douglas International airport of Charlotte, NC, and Rio de Janeiro. On December 2nd, the new service will start with a B767 with capacity for 18 passengers in Business class and 186 in Economic class.

Sol & Luna hotel invests US$5 million in extension of its facilities
Sol & Luna Lodge-Spa, located in Urubamba valley, invested US$5 million in the extension of its facilities that will have 15 new luxury small houses, as well as one multipurpose hall with capacity for 150 people. The small houses will be directed to luxury segment and will be added to the 28 bungalows that this hotel currently has. All the houses will have more than 100m2 of the inner area, one private garden and terrace, and wonderful view to the surroundings of Valle Sagrado.
Guides of museums of Arequipa will be distributed between tourists
Arequipa will have a guide of museums that will show to the tourists what offers, more than 16 galleries of Historic Center.The document will include photographs and thematic information about the offer of each one of the museums in order that tourists could have the option to choose which one they are going to visit during their stay. The guide will be full color and in Spanish and English, and it will be distributed in travel agencies, hotels, airport and terminus with no cost.
They will evaluate the possibility to build mythological museum in Puno
Puno would have a Mythological museum similar to those that exist in Paraguay and Spain, where trace and ornaments, related to the culture of this region of the country, will be exhibited, it informed that the museum would be located on the shore of Lake Titicaca.
Iberia adds direct flight to Guayaquil
From June 12th to 26th, Iberia will increase the offer of flights to Guayaquil in order to attend the increase of the demand that is registered at the beginning of the summer in the northern hemisphere. Iberia adds the second flight to the current frequency in the route Quito –Guayaquil, which will operate every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and will directly connect with Guayaquil.
Santa Marta will continue being among plans of cruisers
Royal Caribbean announced that Santa Marta will continue being included within different schedules in the calendar of “Enchantment of the Seas” for 2009-2010 seasons. For 2010-2011season, Santa Marta will be held to the verification of some advances related to the agreements acquired by the municipality and the company of cruisers.
SBA will arrive to Panama
From July 1st, SBA Airlines will arrive to Panama operating the route Panama-Caracas-Panama in a Boeing 757 with capacity for 178 passengers.
Fenn chain will open a hotel in the country
In November, after one year of the opening of its first establishment in Asuncion (Paraguay), the Argentine hotel chain will inaugurate el Esplendor Denovo Panama, in the capital city of the country. The hotel will be of 42 floors and have 100 rooms and its building will demand an investment of US$ 30 million.
