Select-Seychelles, a local Seychelles DMC (Destination Management Company), is doing Seychelles proud at the coming EIBTM Tourism Trade Fair at the end of November by being the Sponsor of the Official Show Guide. This has brought Seychelles to be covered with the logo of Select-Seychelles on the guide’s front cover and with a full picture of a Seychelles beach setting on the back outside cover.
Freddy Karkaria, the Managing Director of Select-Seychelles, confirmed to the Seychelles Tourism Board that he had concluded the sponsorship deal to put Seychelles in the forefront of the EIBTM show buyers guide, which will also have a Seychelles strap line on all the 48 pages of the guide. It has also been confirmed by the EIBTM organizers that it is this guide that will be handed to all buyers, exhibitors, and visitors to the 2011 EIBTM Tourism Fair.
The organizers of the EIBTM have also confirmed that two weeks following the trade fair, an electronic version of this show guide will be updated with the final directory of all companies and people who attended EIBTM 2011 and will be mailshot to the MICE world so to speak: buyers, hotels, events and conference organizers, incentive houses, tour operators, DMCs, etc.
This all showing as “sponsored by SELECT-SEYCHELLES” with the Seychelles islands logo is very prominent on the advert.
Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, has congratulated Freddy Karkaria and Select-Seychelles for putting Seychelles in such a prime position of the official EIBTM 2011 show guide. “You action will help the efforts of the Tourism Board in its work to make Seychelles more visible,” Alain St.Ange said.
