• The Associated Press cited an Egyptian security official who spoke on condition of anonymity as saying the Mary Lou boat was carrying the tourists on a diving trip from the port of Safaga on the Red Sea coast.
• MOSCOW, Russia – Thirty people, including 19 Russian tourists and 11 Egyptian crew, have been rescued from a sinking boat in the Red Sea.
• The official said parts of the boat were flooded by strong winds and high waves.
